My name is Michael Puyear and I am now officially over 40 years old. I am blessed to be married to Tamara and we have been blessed with 5 children. We currently live in the DFW metroplex area but if you know us very well, you know that could change at any moment.
My favorite things are reading and discussing Theology with a good cigar and a Vodka Tonic or maybe a Fat Tire Amber Ale. I also enjoy watching a good movie. I collect Superman “stuff” and am convinced that he is the greatest superhero in this or any other age.
I love Reformed/Covenantal Theology. I believe that the Westminster Confession of Faith along with the Larger and Shorter Catechisms most accurately teach the doctrines set forth in Holy Scripture.
My family and I are members of Faith Orthodox Presbyterian Church, (A congregation of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church).
There has been one addition to our family, as of the last week of December 2007. We now have a new baby boy (Rottweiler) in the clan. His name is Diesel. He is now a little bit over four months old and is already almost the size of my youngest daughter. He is extremely playful and sociable. He is pretty much house trained and is very close to sleeping through the entire night without needing to go outside to do his business. My three youngest children are still learning to control him, but the two oldest have done a good job of getting him to obey them. Tamara doesn’t put up with much nonsense from the dog. Diesel realized pretty quickly that I am the Alpha in this house, so he doesn’t “jack around” with me. As of last week he got his final shots and we are now walking him. I am really amazed at how well he took to the leash. He walks like a champ and learned to heel very well. The bottom line is that we are really glad he’s with us now and we are looking forward to a long life, Lord willing, with the new member of our family.
Hello Mike, I am Gary Ferguson’s mom and he mentions you now and then, so when he talked about your website, thought I would send you a note!
Congratulations on your beautiful wife and 5 kids! What a blessing and obedience to the Lord, who said to Adam and EVe, ‘be fruitful and multiply’!
You know I have 7, 10 grandkids, 1 great-grandson and 2 more on the way! All I wanted when I grew up was to marry and have a houseful of kids and I had them. They are a blessing [most of the time, ha], and you will have to come over with Gary sometime to see me.
I remember your mom and dad. Are either still living? I believe your mom died. God bless you and your precious family! Love and prayers, Wanda Ferguson
Mrs. Ferguson,
It is great to hear from you. I’ll be honest, I certainly never expected you to see my little blog. I can’t tell you how happy I am that you dropped in to say hello.
Tamara and I have truly been blessed to have 5 kids and they are 5 of the best things that have ever happened to me. I actually did know that you had several kids and one of them is a real trouble-maker :v). You’re absolutely right, I do need to come over and visit you with Gary sometime. I look forward to doing just that.
My mom is still with us and is now living in Rockwall. She sold the house in Sunnyvale a few years ago and bought a place in Rockwall and is doing just fine. It was my father that passed away back in 2000.
Thank you again for your kind words and I hope to be able to come and see you again very soon.
Lord bless you,
Michael
